Weather Links    FAQ

F5WeatherAlert.Com is a free weather alert system designed to provide the general public with real-time weather alerts issued by the National Weather Service.

  • Free weather alerts? Is this service really "free"? What's the catch? The service IS free to the users of the site. Of course, I have to pay to host the site and monitor the information from the National Weather Service but I have designed the site in a manner such that my cost is very low. Since the weather alerts are provided by the National Weather Service the information has already been paid for by tax-dollars, I'm just giving the taxpayers their information without charging them again, like some other weather alert sites do.
  • You want my email address? Who are you going to sell it to? I need your email address so that I can send you weather alerts that you've registered for. Per the site's privacy policy, I will never sell your email address to anyone or any organization. The only information sent to your email address will be weather alerts from the National Weather Service and perhaps information about F5WeatherAlert.Com.
  • I find receiving free weather alerts exceptionally valuable. Can I send you money? No thanks. This is my way of doing charity work. Just use and enjoy the site. That is payment enough.
  • How do I request new features and enhancements to the website? I prefer smoke signals when communicating great distances. HA! Just kidding. Send me an email. I'll change/add it as soon as I can.
